Assistant Manager – International Marketing Department, Social team
Position Overview
Looking for a digital marketing professional specialized in social media for international music company. The candidate must have experience with the most common social media (weibo), music streaming (QQ Music, Kugou, Netease, etc.), and video (douyin, bilibili) platforms; be able to plan and execute marketing campaign, be team-oriented and able to manage vendors, and always meet deadlines. English is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media accounts (Weibo, Douyin, Bilibili, Wechat) for international music label
- Content planning and copywriting for different channels
- Plan and execute a social media strategy that integrates different platforms, and in coordination with marketing team
- Report on accounts status and data
- Manage vendors to produce content and provide promotional resources
- Responsible for the growth of the social media channels
Required Skills
- Proficient in operating social media platforms, and understand the way their algorithms work
- Familiar with social media registration and verification process
- Basic Video editing and graphic design skills
- Strong copywriting skill
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in Chinese and English), and pro-active attitude
- Attention for details and organization skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle many accounts at the same time
- Ability to understand basic data and operate accordingly
- Creative mindset for “out of the box” marketing planning
- Strong problem-solving skills
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, media, or any relevant subject
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of equivalent and proven work experience in digital marketing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Video editing
- Basic graphic design
- Experience in an agency or corporate environment,
- Experience in planning and creating marketing campaigns across different social media platforms.
- Passion for music and popular culture.
- Desire and passion for working in a fast-paced global environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere, After Effects) and Final Cut Pro X is a plus.
